Dyckia marnier-lapostollei is a plant species in the genus Dyckia, endemic to Brazil.
Caring for dyckia
1) They are not true succulents as they do not store water in their leaves but they are able to survive long periods of drought by going dormant.
2) Watering regime should closely mimic their natural settings, which is heavy watering for the first half of the year and relatively dry conditions for the second half of the year
3) They like well draining and gritty mix
4) Full sun exposure with some bright shade
5) Propagated by offsets or seeds
