Coryphantha Elephantidens

Coryphantha elephantidens is endemic to Mexico where it is known to occur in the states of Aguascalientes, Guerrero, Guanajuato, Hidalgo, Jalisco, México, Michoacán, Morelos, Oaxaca, Puebla, Querétaro, Veracruz and Zacatecas.


Caring for coryphanta


1) Avoid intense afternoon sunlight as coryphanta is prone to sunburn


2) Use the "soak and dry" method to water them


3) Use a soil mix of at least 50% organics, ensure it is well draining but retains water well


4) Coryphanta rots easily when left to sit in waterlogged soil


5) Coryphanta can be propagated by seeds, pups or grafting
